MY DESIGN JOURNEY

As a native of Truckee, my roots in construction and design run deep. From a young age, I was immersed in the world of building and design through my father’s construction company, where I spent my high school years gaining invaluable hands-on experience. This early exposure not only honed my skills but also ignited my passion for design.

Despite my love for design, my academic pursuits took me in a different direction. Intrigued by the sciences, I embarked on a journey into the medical field, eventually serving as a physician assistant for nine years. This side of my career is both rewarding and challenging, always continuing to develop my analytical skills and attention to detail.

However, the call of design was one I could not ignore. There was a persistent longing within me to create, to transform spaces, and to bring visions to life. Yielding to this passion, I made the decisive shift back to my first love—design. Over the past four years, I have dedicated myself to building a career in interior design, leveraging my unique background that blends scientific precision with creative flair.

In this new chapter, I’ve had the privilege of growing my team and establishing a dynamic partnership with Castle Peak Construction. This collaboration, especially working alongside my father, has been incredibly meaningful. Together, we specialize in transformations that breathe new life into spaces, combining practicality with aesthetic appeal.

My journey from construction sites to clinical settings and back to design studios illustrates my belief that a well-designed space has the power to heal, inspire, and rejuvenate. With each project, my goal is to create environments that reflect the unique stories and needs of those who inhabit them, hoping to make every space not just a house, but a home.
